ART EXHIBITION

 

The Art Committee at Temple Shalom is planning an art exhibition to be held the weekend of April 4-6, 2008. We invite all Temple Shalom members, and those who are in Temple art classes, to show their original projects. Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and creative crafts can be included.

This three day event will include an Open House and reception on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity to meet the artists and perhaps purchase some of their creations.

 

We want to make this an outstanding art show and hope that all of our Temple “artists” will show their work.

 

On another subject, Art classes are off to a great start. There are two classes each week taught by Art Teacher Rona Steingart. Mondays are geared to beginning students, while students with more experience meet Tuesdays. Each student works in the media of their choice, since creativity and individuality are stressed. Both Temple members and non-members are enjoying this experience. Attendance is flexible.
