Welcome to the "Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y" Program at Temple Shalom!

"Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y," is a series of lectures and discussions simulcast via satellite from the legendary 92nd Street Y in New York City viewed on our giant 10’ x 14’ screen in Temple’s sanctuary. This high-tech, interactive program features world-renowned speakers and respected scholars.

Our audience joins other audiences across North America and in New York City at the 92nd Street Y for thought-provoking discussions with some of the world’s most exciting people. Since 2004, we have featured outstanding speakers such as Barbara Walters, Katie Couric, Martha Stewart, Gene Wilder and Thomas Friedman. The programs were attended by more than 2,000 people and established a new, live, social and cultural programming venue for the Naples community. The question and answer sessions provide attendees with the chance to interact (via satellite) with well-established personalities in the political, industrial and social spheres.
