 Temple Shalom Preschool is considered to be the premier preschool in Collier County. Specializing in Early Childhood Jewish education for 2 – 5 year olds, each child is nurtured and encouraged to grow and learn academically, socially and spiritually.
Our philosophy and curriculum are based on our understanding that each child develops at an individual pace. Our program considers the developmental stages and needs of young children, and allows them to learn about themselves and their world in a loving and supportive Jewish environment.
In addition to our regularly scheduled preschool program, we offer early drop-off, extended day, Mommy and Me, and Enrichment programs for an additional fee.

Each age and stage of development has its own integrity. Young children learn about themselves and their world through everyday experiences. Our child-directed curriculum provides a framework that invites children to observe, make choices, and experiment, thus developing a sense of competence and initiative. Our teaching staff is trained in techniques of conflict resolution and constructive communication, and they are constantly aware of both individual and group needs. Finally, Judaism is taught in such a manner that all children feel comfortable regardless of home religious observance.

At Temple Shalom Preschool, we focus on the children’s emotional and social growth (i.e. problem solving, listening, self-expression and cooperative skills). (Term begins in November. Two days a week)

LIONS:
Child must be at least 3 years of age and toilet-trained by Sept. 1
PRE-KINDERGARTEN:
Child must be at least 4 years of age and toilet-trained by Sept. 1

If you would like to enroll your child in our Preschool, we require all students to submit the following forms (please click on each form to download):
In addition, we are required by the Department of Children and Families to obtain the following for each child:
- Current Certification of Immunization (blue form)
- Current Health Examination (yellow form)
