Reaching out to those in need is central to Jewish being. Giving, whether financially (tzedakah), through acts of loving kindness (gemilut hasadim), or social action (tikkun olam) is a central and fulfilling part of one's Jewish identity. When you volunteer your time, donate to one of Temple Shalom's many funds, or help to repair the world through social action, you are helping us make the world a better place.
