At Temple Shalom, the act of remembering is done in a very tangible way. We publish a Sefer Zichronot, a Memorial Book, listing the names of our loved ones who have died since last Yom Kippur, and those we remember from years past. A copy of that book is placed in the Holy Ark when the memorial prayers are said during the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur. 

The Memorial Book will be available at the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur and will also be accessible on the Temple Shalom website.  If you would like to include the names of your loved ones, please complete the form below and submit it no later than 5:00pm on Monday, September 8.

In keeping with Jewish tradition, a donation of tzedakah to Temple Shalom is requested. As a guide,a minimum of $18.00 (chai) per name is suggested. Larger gifts, prompted by your own generosity, are always appreciated.
