I did not find this world desolate when I entered it. And as my parents planted for me before I was born, so do I plant for those who will come after me. — Talmud

For over 55 years, Temple Shalom has been at the center of Jewish communal and spiritual life in the Greater Naples area. Your gift to Temple Shalom expresses your commitment to providing a sacred place for inspirational worship, educational programs, innovative social action projects, and cultural programming. We welcome gifts of any size. Your generosity and kindness will help ensure that we meet the needs of our community — now and for generations to come. Each gift to Temple Shalom helps make possible inspiring worship services led by outstanding clergy, stimulating educational opportunities for children, teens and adults, Jewish cultural programming, fulfillment of our commitment to tikkun olam and much more. If you are a member and would like to view a full list of funds, click here.

Your contribution or donation allows over 1000 people of all ages to pray each Shabbat, provides teachers for our children’s Jewish education, supports adult programs, and much more. We have various giving opportunities that fund programs and support our community.

Let’s continue to work together as One Family. We are grateful for your support!

Whether you are a part of our Temple Family or just willing to help support our mission, donating is simple. Just follow the link below.

Are you making the most of all Qualified Charitable Deductions this year?
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act has made possible an economic stimulus package incentivizing charitable gifts to organizations like ours - benefiting both donors and nonprofits.
Great News for Those Who Itemize
If you itemize, CARES lifts the existing cap on annual contributions, raising it from 60% of adjusted gross income to 100% for most donors. This applies only to donations given to public nonprofits, like Temple Shalom.
Great News Even if You Don’t Itemize
A new deduction has been added for total contributions of up to $300 per taxpayer. The incentive applies to cash contributions made in 2020 and can be claimed on next year’s tax forms. This is especially beneficial to those who typically take the standard deduction (as opposed to itemizing) when filing taxes. To qualify for this deduction, you simply have to make a donation to a qualified charity, such as Temple Shalom, up to $300.00.
Required Minimum Distributions & Outright Gifts from IRAs
Donors who are at least 70.5 years old, can still make qualified charitable distributions from IRAs to charities like Temple Shalom. They can direct some or all of their required minimum distribution, plus can donate additional amounts up to a total of $100,000 in any calendar year.
Stock and/or Donor Advised Fund Giving
Remember, it is not too late to make 2020 gifts of appreciated stock to charities as well as request DAF distributions. To make a gift of stock to Temple Shalom, please contact
