ILLUSTRATED TORAH SCROLL

"It is a tree of life to all who grasp it, and whoever holds on to it is happy; its ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its paths are peace." (Proverbs 3:17-18)

Created by Israeli artist, Michal Meron, the Illustrated Torah consists of beautiful, limited edition giclée prints that represent the stories of the Torah within the 54 weekly segments, through highlighted texts and vibrant images. It is a work of art that will bring the Torah to life and adorn our Temple for years to come.

Reserve your place in Temple Shalom’s history by dedicating a special verse or weekly portion corresponding to a yahrzeit, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, wedding anniversary, birthday or other important milestone in your life. You may even dedicate one of the Five Books of Moses, or the entire Torah - yourself or together with family and friends - to show your appreciation for Rabbi Miller and Cantor Azu and commemorate special moments in your life! If you would like help determining the specific portion that correlates with a special date, contact Shayna Aronson at saronson@naplestemple.org.

Gifts of $5,000 or more will be inscribed in the Illustrated Torah for posterity and will be recognized on a special plaque at Temple Shalom.

We hope that you will support this project and create a lasting legacy for yourself, our beloved clergy and our congregational family.
