Rabbi Miller and students gather around a table in the SanctuaryYESh (Youth Engagment at Shalom) empowers Jewish children and teens to develop friendships and leadership skills, fosters a sense of belonging to the Jewish People, a deep engagement with and love for Israel, and a commitment to inspired Jewish living.

Walk the halls of YESh on any given Sunday morning when school is in session and you will hear song and prayer, laughter and joy. We believe that every stage of Jewish learning must be meaningful, personally fulfilling and foster a love of our traditions and community.

Our students, teachers and parents work together to generate bonds with each other, our Temple family, Israel, and God based on our shared faith, culture and heritage, while developing a strong foundation in Jewish values, beliefs, and practices in ways that are engaging, intellectually, stimulating, and fun.

We believe that successful Jewish learning is maximized when it is in sync with ttwo students pack Meals of Hope in the multipurpose roomhe realities of modern secular life. In response to the fact that many families are pulled in too many directions during the week, Temple Shalom offers a Sunday Hebrew class as well as ten individual tutoring sessions scheduled at your convenience.
