Rainbow of Hope Volunteer Team


Following the inspiring message of Rabbi Miller from Kol Nidre, we are starting our Rainbow of Hope Project. Temple Shalom is partnering with Temple Beth El in Fort Myers, Bat Yam Temple on Sanibel, the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island, and Naples Jewish Congregation to bring aid to those needing the most assistance across Southwest Florida.

Opportunities will include efforts with local partner organizations, such as Meals of Hope, the Harry Chapin Food Bank, and the United Way. There are many exciting ways that you can make our rainbow a reality:
  • Distributing goods and gift cards to those in need
  • Packing meals for those facing food insecurity
  • Clean up projects around Southwest Florida
  • Collecting non-perishable foods
  • Organizing donations from other congregations and communities
  • Reviewing and allocating larger requests for assistance
